Terms of Service.

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the services provided by Bespoke by Briony (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to you, the client (“you” or “your”). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

2. Booking & Payments

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required to secure your booking. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit has been received by us. This deposit covers initial design work, consultations, and secures your event date in our calendar.

Final Payment: The remaining 50% of the total booking value is due 48 hours before your scheduled event date. We reserve the right to withhold delivery or setup of any display until full payment has been received.

Cancellations:

  • If you cancel your booking, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of the event, the full payment (100%) remains due and non-refundable, as materials will have been ordered and prepared, and the date secured.

Amendments: Any changes to your booking must be communicated to us as soon as possible. While we will endeavour to accommodate changes, this may be subject to additional charges or limitations based on availability and material requirements.

3. Display Care & Responsibility

Our Responsibility (Balloons): Bespoke by Briony takes meticulous care in creating and installing your display. We always inflate our balloons 24 hours prior to collection or delivery to ensure there are no initial manufacturing faults.

Client Responsibility (Post-Handover): Once the display has been delivered, installed, or collected by you, responsibility for its condition and integrity transfers immediately to you, the client.

Balloon Disclaimer: Balloons are delicate and their longevity depends entirely on their environment. We cannot be responsible for any damage, deflation, or issues that may occur once the balloons have left our care. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by:

  • Mishandling, sharp objects, or pets.

  • Unsuitable environmental conditions (e.g., extreme heat, direct sunlight, rain).

  • Accidental damage or tampering after installation.

Fixes and Replacements: While we cannot be held responsible for post-handover issues, if something does happen, we will always do our best to help rectify the situation. Please be aware that emergency fixes or replacement components will incur an extra charge.

4. Prop Hire Terms (Shimmer Walls, Sailboards, Easels, Numbers)

Duration of Hire: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, props are hired for a maximum period of 24 hours.

Care and Use: You are responsible for ensuring the props are placed in a safe environment (e.g., away from high traffic, weather elements, or potential damage) for the duration of the hire period.

Damage and Loss: You will be responsible for the safe return of all hired props in the condition they were provided. Any damage, loss, or theft of the props will result in the client being charged the full cost of repair or the full replacement value of the prop, which must be paid within seven (7) days of notification.

5. Aftercare Instructions for Balloon Displays

To help prolong the life and appearance of your balloon display, please adhere to the following advice:

  • Temperature: Store balloons indoors at room temperature. Avoid extreme heat or cold.

  • Outdoor Storage: Do not store displays outdoors or leave them exposed to outdoor elements for extended periods.

  • Hazards: Keep balloons away from sharp objects (e.g., rough surfaces, jewellery) and pets.

  • Direct Sunlight: Keep balloons out of direct sunlight to prevent oxidation (cloudiness) and premature popping.

6. General

We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The T&Cs in force at the time of your booking will apply.
